Last week in the Weekly News email, there was an announcement about the food and clothing drive that is being run by the sixth grade class at Assumption school. The dates for this drive were incorrect. Please see the updated information below.
Assumption School
Food and Clothing Drive
Our sixth graders have taken the lead on this project, and have done a great job! Caleb R was voted in as leader, with Nicholas as secretary. Sienna offered to type up the flyer, and Cohen and Levi offered to make posters. Several students went into each classroom to talk about the drive and pass out flyers. Everyone else offered ideas and were very supportive. Mrs. Brinson assisted just to keep things flowing.
Now the class will be in charge of collecting the food, sorting, and boxing it. Then, the donations will be brought to Catholic Charities, Birthright, and St. Vincent DePaul.
Week 1 | December 7-11: Food Items
