Assumption: Schedule for the Week of October 5
- Morning health screening begins at 7:45 a.m. with school starting at 8:05 a.m.
- Dismissal times:
- Grades K-2: 2:25 p.m.
- Grades 3-6: 2:35 p.m.
- Wednesday early release time: 1:45 p.m.
Reminder: All students will need to bring their own lunches from home.
DeSales: Schedule for the Week of October 5
- Zero mod students begin at 7:15 a.m., teachers will perform health screenings
- For all other students, morning health screening begins at 7:30 a.m. with classes starting at 8:00 a.m.
- Dismissal times:
- Grades 7-8: 2:50 p.m.
- Grades 9-12: 3:00 p.m.
- Wednesday early release times:
- Grades 7-8: 1:50 p.m.
- Grades 9-12: 2:00 p.m.
Reminder: All students will need to bring their own lunches from home. Microwaves and vending machines at DeSales will not be available during this time.
We will continue to examine both of these schedules to ensure we are effectively and efficiently implementing our safety protocols.
Note Regarding Wednesday Early Release Days
Each Wednesday, unless otherwise noted, Assumption and DeSales will both have Early Release days. The times are consistent scheduled times as noted above. During this time our WWCS faculty and staff will be working collaboratively on curriculum and course standards, school improvement, as well as professional development in instruction and faith formation.
WWCS Enrollment Task Force
The WWCS Board would like to put together Task Force to investigate enrollment and tuition models for the schools.
Our Finance Committee has worked diligently over the last few years at tightening our budget, and they need your help in generating ideas and modelling various tuition structures. The plan would be to hold weekly virtual meetings to formulate and discuss ideas, and then to research those ideas on your own time. Due to our need to set tuition by the end of the calendar year, this is an urgent task that will be limited to 4-6 weeks in duration.

Wait, you say – isn't that SausageFest weekend? Unfortunately, COVID-19 isn’t going to allow us to hold SausageFest this year. However, we CAN continue to build our community through fellowship and a new opportunity to safely come together for family fun and entertainment! Mike and Lorie Spiess have generously donated their facility to the WWCS for this event.
We also want to give a special shout out to Home and School at Assumption and DeSales for helping fund t-shirts for all students and teachers!
Assumption School hires new Administrative Assistant
We at Assumption school happily welcome our new Administrative Assistant, Shawna Sweeney! In addition to her Assumption duties, once trained, Shawna will also serve as the point of contact for all COVID-19 related communication and information. Please make Shawna feel welcome!
Pepe's Pizza Sale

We are in the homestretch for the WWCS Pepe's Pizza Sale! Just six more days to take orders and then get them turned into the school offices by Tuesday, October 6th! View and print the order form HERE.
If you currently have orders that have not been turned in, please turn those in ASAP so that we can place our order for the necessary ingredients. Then, please make a huge push over the weekend to sell as many more pizzas as possible!
Note: orders can also be emailed to BoosterClub@TheWWCS.com by Tuesday, and paid for at pick-up on Thursday, Oct 15.

New Multi-Purpose Patio at DeSales High School
We at the WWCS want to say a special "thank you" to our donors, Koncrete Industries, Eagon Excavating & Construction, Three Sons Concrete, as well as Catherine and Hank Worden, for donating their time to this wonderful project. We are lucky to have such an amazing community!
This new patio will be used for student lunches, individualized class instruction, and alumni gatherings, and more! The project is scheduled to be completed near the end of the October.

A weekly Holy Hour for all students, families and faculties, hosted by WWCS will continue on Wednesdays in the coming weeks to help us be well-equipped for the school year.
The Holy Hour begins at 3:30 p.m., at Assumption Church on Wednesdays.
Community Masses will continue to be held Tuesday and Thursday at 5:30 p.m., at Assumption Church.
