Dear Walla Walla Catholic School families,
We have experienced great pleasure in welcoming our students and families back into our buildings for in-person instruction these first weeks of school at Assumption. As a result of our successful implementation, as well as support from our students and families, we are able to begin our next phase in.
Starting next week, our K-2 grade students will move to full day instruction, grades 3-6 will continue with another week of our hybrid (AM/PM cohorts) schedule and finally, our student’s grades 7-12 will begin their first week of in-person hybrid instruction at DeSales! It brings great satisfaction for us to be able to move in this direction.
As we continue to be companions in this journey, staying on schedule with our in-person modality depends on the ability of all of us to stay safe and continue to be vigilant with our procedures and protocols. Becoming too comfortable or relaxing any of our safety procedures will in all likelihood force us back to a remote learning modality.
In the rest of our newsletter please find information regarding our health screening protocols and reminders for our hybrid phase in. Also, you will find a chart with updated protocols for various COVID-19 screening situations with responses and requirements for returning to school.
